OMS, powered by IBM, is our system for managing and tracking all digital orders. This is the primary tool you will use to search, view, and troubleshoot orders, You will usually be searching for draft orders, held orders, confirmed orders, and archived orders. Unlike iSeries, which is menu-driven and used for manual entries and transfers, the OMS has a graphical interface that provides a comprehensive overview of our digital sales.
Key Functions and Features:
• Order Search: The core function of the OMS is its powerful search capability. You can easily find specific orders by using a variety of criteria, including:
○ Order Number or Customer PO Number.
○ Customer Name or ID.
○ Date Ranges and Order Types.
○ Order Status (e.g., Confirmed, Draft, etc.).
• Order Status and Details: The search results provide a quick and detailed summary of each order. You can see the order's current status (e.g., "Partial Failed Validation," "Draft Order Created"), the total amount, the customer's name, address, and other key information.
• Centralized View: The OMS serves as a centralized hub for all digital order information, allowing you to quickly locate and review any order placed through our online channels. This is essential for providing timely customer support and resolving issues.
The OMS is a critical tool for our e-commerce operations, enabling us to efficiently process digital orders and provide visibility into the entire order lifecycle.
